wardrobe change

I don't care how hot anyone says it gets in london, it doesnt stay that way long enough to really wear your summer clothes. And besides no one is even tan enough that they look good.....
One of the things I'm enjoying most about being home is wearing things i NEVER can in london: Summer Clothes!

donut day

i just read THis! in yahoo news:

Did you know the donut turned 164 years old on June 22nd? The story goes that a Dutch sea captain invented the pastry in 1847 out of necessity. He was eating a piece of cake and a storm suddenly hit, so he impaled the treat on the steering wheel to save it for later. And voila! We've got a donut.

the storms of early summer

i have a lot of mixed feelings about being home, mostly mixed emotions. its been, not difficult, but very up and down. there are so many things i love coming home to, but when i get here realize there are a lot of things i purposely don't remember when i am away.

there was an amazing thunderstorm tonite. to be honest, it was a little bit scary at first. when i woke up, it was so loud, the rain, the thunder, and my god, the lightning was unbelievable. it was so close, i think i was barely moving if even breathing lol.

after it calmed down a bit i took a small video. its short, and is near the end of the storm, so there isnt much activity in between the lightning bolts!
