So i was talking about this over the weekend, and when i think about it, well, its pretty weird. I have keys to about 4 different houses that aren't mine, but don't have keys to my "home" (my moms house). This isn't a recent thing, like, bc i left the country a few years ago and didn't need them any more. I may have never actually owned a set of keys to the house. I was talking to my sister about this one day (i can't help myself, i like to talk about my lack of keys), and well, she doesn't have keys to the house either. Nor does my eldest brother, the other brother or his wife, or my dad. My mom. she is the only one who actually has her own set of keys to the house. I was telling someone this the other night (not only was he confused, but at that moment, i also realized how confusing the situation was), and he then suggested, "well she is at home a lot then, to let people in right?" HA, no, she is the one who is LEAST likely to be home.
So the situation is this: all the rest of us (6 of us in total) all share one key. i actually can't NOT LOL when i think about this. 6 people have been sharing the same key FOR YEARS! and somehow it works out. lol
